Limited pilot program

This could be your project. We cover half the cost.
Pilot program currently available

You don't need a finished software idea or a requirements document. If something in your day-to-day should work better and the project fits the pilot program, Pacifico covers 50% of the agreed development costs. We help companies do their actual business better – with IT that supports you instead of holding you back.

Does this sound like your day-to-day?

Whatever your field or industry. We bring the IT know-how; you bring the domain knowledge. A few illustrative examples – these are not existing client projects.

Physiotherapy practice

Appointments in the calendar, training plans in Word, billing and notes scattered. Mondays again go into reconciling – instead of patients. And who needs what when often lives in only one person's head.

If that sounds like your practice: Exactly these kinds of projects can fit the pilot program.

Restaurant & hospitality

Orders run through third-party platforms – with commissions that add up, and guests who barely find you directly anymore. Order online, pick up or get delivery through your own shop, on your terms: The kitchen can do it; digital sales are still missing.

If you finally want orders through your own channel: This could be your project.

Trades & workshop

Jobs come in by phone and WhatsApp, the plan is on the wall or in a spreadsheet, materials and appointments are juggled on the side. When that person is sick, the overview stalls – not the work itself.

If planning and documentation work like that for you: The pilot program can start here.

Office & SME everyday

Quotes, orders, approvals, customer files – spread across emails, folders, and three tools that don't talk to each other. The software that “is still missing” isn't a good fit on the market – or only as an expensive monster for corporations.

If this is exactly the gap in your office: Get in touch with the concrete day-to-day, not a software idea.

Which projects fit the pilot program?

Sound familiar? Maybe it's finally time to change something!

  • A tool for practice or operations – appointments, jobs, plans, documentation
  • Processes stuck in Excel, WhatsApp, and people's heads that should finally belong together
  • Something between existing programs that is still copied by hand
  • A feature that “the standard software just can't do” – and regularly costs you time
  • A prototype (including vibe-coding) that doesn't yet hold up in real operations
  • Something that already runs, but is built so that nobody wants to maintain or extend it

You don't need a finished software solution yet. Tell us what's stuck – we'll look at the rest together.

50% co-funding – explained simply

This is about splitting the agreed development costs for selected projects – not a blanket discount on any service.

Why we co-fund: We want IT that fits your business – and we design solutions so that as much as possible can later be reused by others. The extra abstraction can increase effort; co-funding makes this shared approach attractive. More under Open Source and reuse.

How we build: useful early, better iteratively

Don't wait a year for a complete suite – create real everyday value as early as possible and build on it. We develop iteratively and work step by step with solutions that stay usable.

  1. 1

    Understand the concrete problem.

  2. 2

Together identify the most sensible first solution and a reusable core.

  3. 3

Build a first independently usable stage.

  4. 4

Use the solution in day-to-day work and gather experience.

  5. 5

In further iterations, extend, improve, and connect with other applications.

We plan fixed delivery dates within sub-projects, and early test users can give feedback for further development right away.

Requirements, costs, and scope

  • For selected projects, Pacifico covers 50% of the agreed development costs.
  • The pilot program covers new software projects; existing ideas, early prototypes, and vibe-coding results can be a starting point.
  • The code is generally made publicly available as Open Source. More under Open Source and reuse.
  • Operations, hosting, maintenance, and later further development are agreed separately.
  • Customer-specific or sensitive parts must be reviewed in advance and may need to be separated.
  • The pilot program is only available when capacity is currently released and may pause.

For orientation: Suitable projects often sit around roughly €10,000–20,000 total project volume, in suitable cases up to about €30,000. These are not fixed entry conditions or guarantees – we review each project individually. Many people find it hard to put a price tag on software; the range should help you judge whether the order of magnitude fits your budget.

Application process

Getting started stays deliberately simple:

  1. 1

You describe the problem you want to solve.

  2. 2

Pacifico checks whether the project basically fits the pilot program.

  3. 3

In a joint conversation we clarify need, possible solution, technical conditions, and value.

  4. 4

If there's mutual interest, we work out a suitable scope and an offer.

  5. 5

Only after agreement on scope, costs, and conditions does the project begin.

An application is non-binding and does not create a claim to co-funding.

Why Open Source and reuse?

The long-term idea in short:

  • The software is generally published publicly as Open Source.
  • Recurring features can be reused in other companies.
  • Configuration instead of one-off custom development can simplify further projects.
  • Applications can be connected via open interfaces.
  • Shared further development can improve the software long term.

Technically and conceptually we build, among other things, on our Open Source framework racletteJS and the idea behind Standardordner2030: modular, open, maintainable, and reusable. That does not mean every further user automatically gets a financial benefit or free further development – but the investment can have impact beyond the first project.

Where does it hurt?

Tell us what should work better for you. You don't need a finished solution or a requirements document yet. We'll look together at what's possible and what can become reality.

Frequently asked questions

Do I already need to know which software I need?
No. A clear problem description is enough for the first step. We work out the right solution together.
What exactly does the 50% co-funding mean?
For selected projects, Pacifico covers 50% of the agreed development costs. It is not a blanket discount on any service. Scope and costs are agreed before the project starts.
Which projects are eligible?
Projects with a concrete need in day-to-day work – for example digitizing manual processes, automations, missing features in standard tools, or the path from prototype to something that really holds up in operations.
Can I apply with a vibe-coding prototype?
Yes. A prototype can be a starting point. The goal is then a professional, maintainable implementation that holds up day to day – not leaving it in prototype stage.
Do I have to define the full feature set from the start?
No. We start with a sensibly usable first stage and extend iteratively. A complete requirements document is not a prerequisite.
What does it mean that the software becomes Open Source?
The code is generally made publicly available. Others can reuse, configure, and extend it. Customer-specific or sensitive parts are reviewed in advance and may be separated.
What happens with special features or confidential information?
We review that in the conversation. Sensitive or highly customer-specific parts can be separated so the reusable core can stay Open Source.
Are hosting, maintenance, and further development included?
No. Co-funding refers to the agreed development costs. Operations, hosting, maintenance, and later further development are agreed separately.
How long is the pilot program available?
Only as long as Pacifico releases capacity for it. It can be available temporarily, pause, and resume later.
What happens after I apply?
We check fit and get back to you. If it matches, a conversation follows; only after agreement on scope, costs, and conditions does the project start. The application remains non-binding.
